Dance Pants

Dance pants are a great option on days of practice. Dancewear should be comfortable and allow for unrestricted movement. This should also be true even during performances; restricted movement will resort in limited mobility.

Dance pants are a common item of attire for male dancers. In dances such as the samba, cha cha cha, and tango, many male outfits will generally share the appearance of a tuxedo pant; however, there are also genres that are the complete opposite. Hip hop dancers don’t have a specific type of pant other than ones that are loose fitting.

Dance pants are often purchased along with a top by companies to promote team spirit. It is a common practice to purchase a sweat suit and have a logo printed on it displaying the name of a dance company. Managers often feel that this promotes a sense of togetherness, but it also serves as a marketing technique.
