Dancer Shoes
Dancer shoes provide support and protection for the feet. Many types of dance require jumps, leaps, and spins to be made, putting a lot of shock and strain on the feet. Providing extra support is essential for active dances.
Dancer shoes are a necessary item when partner dancing. When two people are closely paired and learning new dance steps, it is only a matter of time before someone’s feet get stepped on. Wearing a pair shoes serves as a protective barrier so that when they are stepped on, it will not cause a massive injury.
Dancer shoes are different depending on the type of dance being performed. En pointe ballet requires Pointe shoes, as that is the only way possible for one to stand directly on their tip toes. Hip hop shoes generally consist of whatever is most comfortable or if in a group, whatever the group is wearing as a dress code isn’t a requirement.
