Dancewear
Dancewear can be a number of different things depending on the genre of the dance. It is also dependent on the activity. The attire necessary for practice may be entirely different than that of what would be appropriate for a performance.
Dancewear for practicing a routine often consists of something made from a comfortable material. Although it may be somewhat relative to performance attire, it can also simply be a pair of sweats and a t-shirt. This is again dependent on the type of dance, in ballet, leotards and tights are appropriate, whereas, exotic dancers may wear some sort of shorts and tank top when practicing.
Dancewear that is worn for a routine is generally entirely different than practice attire, especially for certain dances. For example, ballroom dance requires participants to wear ball gowns and tux like attire and a modern dance may require a ghost costume to be worn as this type of dance is often used to portray a message.
